Frequently Asked Questions
What does “pro se” mean?
“Pro se” means you are representing yourself in court without an attorney appearing on your behalf. We support pro se clients with legal coaching, document help, and behind-the-scenes strategy—so you’re never alone.
Can you still help if I’m representing myself?
Yes! Many of our clients choose to represent themselves. We offer limited-scope services including legal advice, document review, and court prep sessions to support you without full representation.
Do you offer flat-fee pricing?
Yes. Most of our services are available at flat rates, so you’ll know the cost upfront. Common flat-fee packages include divorce filings, parenting plans, and support modifications.
Will you go to court with me?
No, but we help you get ready. We provide step-by-step guidance so you understand what to file, what to expect in court, and how to present your case.
What family law issues do you help with?
We handle divorce, parenting plans, child support, guardianship, modifications, and more—especially for clients who need flexible, affordable legal help.
How do I get started?
Schedule a consultation online or by phone. We’ll review your situation, answer your questions, and help you decide what level of support fits your needs.
Can you help me fill out court forms?
Yes. We can complete, review, or guide you through Washington State family law forms, including court-approved packets.
Do I need to come into the office?
Not necessarily. We offer virtual services by phone, Zoom, or email, and in-person appointments are available in Freeland or Seattle by request.
